Abbot Notker Wolf, 72, was elected abbot primate for the third time by the world's abbots at the quadrennial meeting at Sant'Anselmo, Rome. Abbot Notker was the Archabbot of Saint Ottilien when he was elected the Abbot Primate in 1977.
